ICD Parish Preschool & Mrs. Bethany Beumer

As we embrace this beautiful season of gratitude, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for sharing your children with us in the preschool program. The concept of gratitude holds deep significance for us as Catholics. Gratitude is one of the greatest virtues, and it's important to show appreciation every day for the good things in our lives.

Here at ICD Preschool, we focus on demonstrating gratitude towards those around us each and every day. As our students cultivate their sense of gratitude, they begin to understand the needs and feelings of others.

Tips for Teaching Gratitude to Preschoolers:

  • Teach Them to Say Thank You: Encourage your child to express appreciation verbally.
  • Express Your Gratitude: Share what you are thankful for in front of your child to model gratitude.
  • Model Gratitude: Demonstrate acts of kindness and thankfulness in everyday situations.

Together, let’s nurture a culture of gratitude in our preschool community!

A few reminders:

If you signed up to bring in an item for the Thanksgiving Feast, please send this item on your child’s next school day. Thank you!

BRRRRRR…….It’s cold outside! Please send your child to school with the appropriate cold weather gear each day. We will be outside unless it is raining or the temperatures are below 20 degrees.

Don’t forget the WKO Toy Drive when Christmas shopping. Items for children of all ages are needed. The drive runs through November 26th.

As a reminder: if you have a child at home who will be eligible for preschool next year, please complete an intention form as soon as possible. This will allow us to include your family in the registration process which will be opening in early February. To be eligible for preschool for the 2024/2025 school year, students must be 3 on or before July 31, 2025 for the 3 year old program and 4 on or before July 31, 2025 for a 4 year old program.
